Professor Martin Fautley and Dr Alison Daubney explore the meaning of ‘profession’ in the context of Key Stage 3 music and look at the role of assessment in supporting it.
Stating that assessment in music should be musical, Martin and Ally proceed to highlight that there is a difference between “coherent assessment” and “consistent assessment”.
